When your partners habits or downfalls bother you focus on the good. You picked this person for a reason, so don't focus on their flaws. Living near Galveston, we are very much aware that another hurricane season has begun. Our family spent the last few months consuming the unused food and water in our 72-hour preparedness kit from last years hurricane season. I used to hide the shame that I carried around in the privacy of my own head, as I was still wetting the bed up until the age of 12 years old. However, today it's not an issue for me as I've come to believe that it was not my fault, and let's face it, what kid would want to wake up in a wet bed if he didn't have to. Sam is recently divorced. He has a 5 year old daughter named Jeanne. His girlfried of 3 months is named Gina. Sam was awarded custody of Jeanne. The court decided that his exwife could no longer handle the responsibility of raising a child. She had many issues to overcome before she could productively contribute in the childs life. Sams girlfriend lived at his house with Jeanne and Sam. He thought it was a good arrangement. It saved money and tested the waters for possible marriage later.... more...

Candle lighting is when the young lady calls up those girls most important to her to light a candle. Usually, she writes a paragraph about each and reads it, then calls them up to the dance floor usually where a table sits with, in this case, 14 candles (one for her). The theme candle lighting to go with the party. Happy 75th to your Dad! How about having some "oldies" going in the background and have tables arranged so there can be dancing going on after dinner? Or sending guests a form (well before the party, with instructions to get that form back to you), and have each person write down a good memory involving your Dad. He will cherish these. OK...I've got the idea, but I hope you're the creative type! What a fun idea! I am guessing that your Grandma enjoys Elvis...I hope so, anyhow! OK, for an invitation, I'd make a simple round shape out of black construction paper. (And then fashion it to look like a record album).
