The 70s TV show CHiPs was shot in the late 70s and early 80s which could be considered as a very controversial time in the world, this series was no exception to that. There were always so many back stories with the cast and the crew and conflicts and fights that most fans never even knew about, and if they did, it was not until well after the show was off the air. Erik Estrada was born in 1949 in East Harlem, Manhattan and is of Puerto Rican descent. Although he became popular later on for Spanish language telenovelas, he will always be most well known for his lead role in the television series CHiPs. Estrada played Officer Frank Poncherello, a California Highway Patrolman, hence the shows name CHiPs. Doctor Who is a long-running award-winning British science fiction television show developed by the BBC. Five months ago, I purchased a new HDTV because my old one finally decided to stop working. I was flipping through my new fancy high definition stations and found A&Es show Intervention. My all-time favorite show..."The Sopranos" is a extraordinary drama. I can't tell you how often I live vicariously through the families on this show. The best part about is that I can observe it in high definition because the high definition station A&E just started running the episodes which used to only be on Home Box Office. I have been trying to convince my aunty for months to give up the antenna on her roof and switch over to satellite. She is not hurting for money and cable television would really help her fill up her day while she is at home taking care of her mother. She does watch TV but she watches the same channel all day long. My grandchildren are constantly watching TV shows over at my house. Ostensibly, my children have forgotten the joys of cartoons and won't let them view much at home. ACAA contest was just around the corner and I was getting excited.I had my 52" HDTV ready to go and my partner was planning to bake some of those wonderful game goodies I love to stuff my face with during the game. The Office is my all time choice tv show at the moment and I was so unhappy when it was temporarily cancelled due to the writer's strike. I agree that everyone wants more money but what about what the viewers crave? Anyway, I heard the strike is over and the writers are returning to production. My mom and dad have been watching the same TV for the last 15 years. It's one of those great big floor models and astonishingly enough, it still works. They have cable but only the near-by stations. If they weren't huge TV watching fans, I wouldn't care their TV is as old as the hills but they watch it all day long. The BBC has secured the TV rights for the Formula One starting from Season 2009. The deal is thought to be a five years and has been agreed for a undisclosed free. The BBC lost out on the formula one 12 years ago to ITV and will be very pleased to have it back. The contract is not TV exclusive just to the BBC TV channels but also the radio and more interesting the Internet as the Formula one is set to be broadcast live online.
