It is another working day after being entertained by the Eurovision song contest over the weekend. A spectacular live show, broadcast in several countries and worldwide over the Internet. The Peanuts Gang are the characters that comprise the comic strip by Charles M. Schulz. The Peanuts comic strip made its debut on October 2, 1950 and was welcomed by fans across the country. Charlie Brown movies are based on the Peanuts comic strip that was created by Charles M. Schulz. The TV show CHiPs was one of the most popular action crime dramas in the late seventies. It followed around a pair of California Highway Patrol motorcycle officers who often found themselves in rather silly and unlikely situations. CHiPs was arguably the most popular action crime drama of its time. The CHiPs TV show ran from 1977-1983 over a course of six complete seasons. The premise of the show was chronicling the daily life of two California Highway Patrol motor officers who worked for the central Los Angeles office. Erik Estrada was born in 1949 in East Harlem, Manhattan and is of Puerto Rican descent. Although he became popular later on for Spanish language telenovelas, he will always be most well known for his lead role in the television series CHiPs. Estrada played Officer Frank Poncherello, a California Highway Patrolman, hence the shows name CHiPs.
