The Eye of the North expansion to Guild Wars introduced two new races, the Norn and the Asura. Players who bought the pre-release pack were able to play Eye of the North over the Sneak Peek weekend, as a final test before the expansion went live. Eye of the North is the first expansion to the three Guild Wars campaigns - Prophecies, Factions and Nightfall. The new Guild Wars expansion, Eye of the North, is supposed to act as a bridge between the first 3 Guild Wars installments and Guild Wars 2, slated for release in 2008. Guild Wars is a great game. With all the features of other popular massive multiplayer games, all with no monthly subscription. The expansion, Eye of the North is no exception. This expansion adds 4 new regions all with their own quests and monsters allowing for 18 additional dungeons. As with most MMO's, many Guild Wars players try to game the system and take advantage of exploits in the game. Not only are there a number of cheats and hacks but there are also a great deal of bots, macros, scripts, and exploits. Maps have always been a part of Guild Wars and are a great feature that can really help you and your party navigate your way across the Kingdoms of Ascalon. By default the map is displayed in the bottom right corner of your screen. The maps found in Guild Wars will allow you to see enemies, beasts, and NPC's from a distance.
