Chrysler Crossfire - A Modern, Stylish And Superior Automobile By michael hood
The 2007 Chrysler Crossfire has a very distinct monochromatic look and metallic paint job and the unique design of the automobile giving it a very modern and stylish look to this superior automobile.
When the engineers at Chrysler designed the Crossfire safety was on the forefront as well as the stellar look and excellent performance capabilities.
Some of the standard safety features on the Crossfire are an Occupant Classification System for the front passenger seat, multi stage driver air bag in the front, a passenger frontal airbag, driver and passenger knee airbags, driver and passenger seat belt pretensioners, and driver and passenger force seatbelt retractors. All of these standard safety features make the Crossfire one of the safer cars available today.
The interior on the Crossfire is extremely roomy and luxurious as there is a two-tome interior mosaic that adds a sense of style to the cabin. The telescoping steering wheel is leather trim and can be easily adjusted by the driver. The stereo inside the cabin gives the feel of a live concert as it features speed sensitive automatic volume control and a standard AM/FM stereo radio CD player with four speakers spread throughout the cabin. The Crossfire features a duel zone semi automatic temperature control system that has specific settings for both the driver and passenger.
The Crossfire has a standard ESP that is specifically designed for the driver to have as much control of the car as possible even under extreme conditions. The ESP has the ability to know when the car starts to spin or plow and will automatically correct the course by taking over control of the throttle and aiding in individual wheel braking to keep the car on course as this gives added stability when turning. The Crossfire has 4-wheel antilock brakes with a Brake Assist system that allows for excellent braking abilities on any type of surface even if the car is traveling at accelerated speeds. Power steering also comes standard on the Crossfire coupe. The distinct body design on the Crossfire was especially designed to have a low coefficient of drag and because of this the car easily cuts through the wind.
The Crossfire suspension is state of the art as the front features an upper and lower "A" arm independent with coil springs, gas-charged shock absorbers and stabilizer bar. The rear suspension features 5-link independent with coil springs, link stabilizer bar and gas charged shock absorbers. These features allow for maximum control and drivability as well as superior traction.
The Crossfire is a very sexy car that has sleek curves from bumper to bumper. What is impressive about the Crossfire is what is under the hood as the car features a powerful 215 horsepower 3.2-liter V6 engine that has awesome pick up as it accelerates from 0-60 mph in an impressive 4.9 seconds and hits a top speed of 154 mph. The look of the Crossfire is very distinct as it can be spotted immediately with its tapered "boat tail" look that highlights the Crossfires 19-inch rear wheels and 18-inch front wheels.
The designers at Chrysler made an excellent automobile with the Crossfire as the car perfectly blends a luxurious high tech interior and superior performance with a look that is nothing less than sexy and dynamic, not to mention unique.
