For those people who hate to drag an electric cord around the house when they vacuum a Eureka cordless vacuum may be a logical choice. Those who want something additional to use for quick pick-ups without dragging out their larger units, also find them extremely useful.
The NiCad rechargeable battery technology may cause some hesitation in making the switch to a cordless vacuum cleaner, but the vast majority of users who own one, have been extremely happy with their decision. Most of the Eureka cordless vacuum cleaners, especially the upright style, have settings for carpets and bare floors and users compliment the ease with which the switch is made.
Additionally, not having a cord to unwind every time it is used is viewed as a time saver when cleaning. Claims are also made that it is great to have for a small job where having to bring out the bigger corded machine can be a hassle. It’s lightweight and ease in maneuverability is also a plus.
