The Range Of Cosmetics Used On The Body

There are a wide range of choices to consider when applying cosmetics to the body. Some of the areas of the body that typically get any type of cosmetics are the lips, face, eyes, nails and body. Each of these areas of the body is perfect naturally but some women can get extremely beautiful by enhancing each one ever so slightly.
In the past, women used to apply lipstick to the lips and would feel lost if they had to go without this type of cosmetic tool for any length of time. The level that lips are painted has risen considerably in the last 30 years or more. Lips are a canvas with many paints in many forms, and women enjoy decorating that particular canvas with substances that are natural and some that are not.
There are a wide range of cosmetics that can be applied to the facial area. Some people prefer to apply a simple base make-up coating, and then layer blushers on top to accent the cheekbones. To this range of facial applications and enhancements women will generally chose to apply powders in two forms. The pressed powders serve to set the base make-up in place, and the free flowing powders add a complete finish to the entire facial region.
People have a lot of fun with the wide range of eye shadows that are offered today. The powder eye shadows have been around the longest but there are shadows in thin pencils that some people choose to accent the lower lash with and use these cosmetic wonders to apply a dash of color in the center of the eyelid as well. Eye shadows provide drama to a woman's face, and combining colors generally works best.
People apply cosmetics to large areas of the body at one time too. The applications of color are typical of what is offered in a base make-up but is offered more to conceal scars and other imperfections such as tanning booth errors that would readily stand out otherwise. Some skin discolorations are caused by genetic defects and body makeup allows people to hide their flaws from the rest of the world.
The application of these wide ranges of cosmetics will differ too. Some people prefer to use their fingers to apply the base make-up applications and switch to a make-up brush when they are applying cosmetics like blushes and loose powder. Pressed powder is generally applied with a cushioned pad that comes with the product.
There are make-up and cosmetic sets that provide a large assortment of brushes for apply lipsticks and liners with the finesse of a professional make-up artist. Whichever range cosmetics are used, all of them should be fun to dabble in a time or two before deciding which one works best for you.
