Making Spooktacular Halloween Decorations

If you want to have a spooktacular Halloween then why not decorate your home with spooky and scary decor to give that haunted house effect. Not only will it be perfect for any Halloween themed party but it could definitely get the admiration of onlookers and trick and treaters as well.

Halloween Decorations could be as simple as decorating the house with candles and tea light holders to give it that ancient feel. You can decorate the outside of your home with jack o' lanterns that project an eerie ray of light most especially when it is stark dark outside. You can also decorate your porches with hangings or pictures of skeletons, witches and ghosts. If you want to go all out you can create ghostlike images with the use of white cloth (if you have an extra one that is no longer going to be used). You can dress up a dummy with an old costume that nobody wants to wear or use and you can even create a mummy on a coffin with some paper mache. You can even turn your very own front lawn into a graveyard with tombstones made of cardboard scantily scattered on your front yard.

For the indoors you can adorn your tables and furniture with Halloween knick knacks and articles. You can always find materials at your local craft shop to create spider webs to give your home a haunted look. This can also be a perfect time to take out those antique candle holders that could be placed conspicuously to give that ancient and creepy feel as well. Halloween pumpkins and accessories can give accent to the overall ghostly appeal. If you have old ribbons in Halloween colors such as orange and black, you can use this to adorn as well the interior of your home. You can tie them on your curtains, on your chairs and you can even incorporate them unto your specially made Halloween invitation for your All Hallow's Eve soiree.

Scatter synthetic spiders and worms on the floor or even on the pica food for a nice touch. Create a menu that'll spook your guests like finger pizzas (really shaped like cut fingers), brain mixture (with the help of good old gelatin and some cream cheese) and others. Just be creative and unique and you'll definitely have your guests talking and raving about your party.

Let your imagination run wild and you'll have one memorable Halloween.
