If you are parent of a teen, then the usage of three letter acronyms such as PAW, CD9 might be very troubling compared to that old four letter words. Well, these all acronyms are the part of teen lingo. You can call it an influence or a sign of changing times. Teen lingo is all about using acronyms and slang to keep the outsider away from the conversation.

Most of the teenagers make use of teen lingo to keep their parents in the dark. This is the reason that parents are generally not comfortable with the usage of teen lingo where PAW means parents are watching and CD9 is to say parents are around.

WYCM: Will you call me?
KFY: Kiss for you
SMIM: Send me an instant message
WUF: Where are you from?
IWSN: I want sex now
ADR: Address
It is not that all acronyms carry wrong meanings there are several other acronyms and slang with a good meaning and even they are cute. Some of these are kind of harmless and cute acronyms are:

4EAE: forever and ever
AIMP: Always in my prayer
ROTFLOL: Rolling on the floor laughing out loud
AYTMTB: and youre telling me this because
BTDTGTS: been there, done that, got the t-shirt
RUOK: are you okay?
TLITBC: thats life in the big city

These words are normally used in teen lingo by children to text each other or while they are chatting online. Teen lingo is basically about finding ways to create shortcuts and making a meaningful conversation.
