Owning a laptop today is something of a must. People can be seen in coffee shops during office hours sipping coffee while clicking and reviewing office works. Government and private sectors had visions of partnering with each other to connect everyone and have infrastructures that are geared towards mobile friendly cities.
Is it time for you to buy a laptop? Here are the reasons why you should have one.
Mobility
Companies now have off-site office policies that give leeway to employees that can work from anywhere they want. More and more people would rather work in a relaxing ambiance of a coffee shop or be at the beach, basking at the sun while doing their reports.

Since the work environment is slowly evolving into a more of out of office type of job, support (technologically) for these kinds of needs has been widely available. CPU's (Central Processing Units) now are far better than it is a couple of years ago. They have units that are specifically developed for the mobile technology which is vibration resistant and consumes lesser battery power than your typical desktop units.
Storage
Traditional hard drives are very sensitive and can be damaged with a slight vibration especially when it's on reading mode. Now, mobile hard drives are a lot less sensitive and are designed to withstand slight vibration. It consumes lesser power than their desktop counterparts.
Lately flash drives have been the trend in the computer world that it posed a great advantage for mobile computer users. The composition of these little giants is solid state and can withstand extreme shock and vibration.
Power
Current laptop batteries have had tremendous improvement over the years. A typical package of a laptop now comes with a lithium ion battery which is a far better counterpart of the nickel cadmium batteries.
Eco-friendly gadgets have been popping out to tech savvy stores like solar battery chargers, wind up power generators and the like. So being stuck in the wilderness won't be much of a problem.
