What is does in the dial-up connection is a hijacking process by tracking your personal modem of phone and then transferring different bad sites to the location of your system. Don't worry because this is just the beginning. There are stances where the spyware can terrorize your living.
Internet connection can panic you
True! The spyware terror began with the Internet connection to individual computer system. I think that a revision in the activities of the spyware must be done so that every user of both the computer system and the Internet get a better understanding.
Spyware gets activated when your computer is connected to the Internet. It is hidden in codes and often appears as pop-up ads sent to you by different websites. Now the spyware frames a trap and is very clever to drag the users' attention towards it. By mistake or let's say out of unawareness you bring the spyware to your home that is your computer system. The spyware can enter to your system through any type of Internet connection via broadband or dial-up. Internet is simply the channel to bring in the spyware.
Malware on your browsing way
While browsing if you have come across ISTBar you must have thought of it to be just a toolbar. The moment you make use of it you will find annoying sites of pornography and different pop-ups getting downloaded that you did not exactly want. So what was it? Of course spyware that represented itself as a toolbar. The adverse role the ISTBar played on your computer is that it has altered your Internet setting and many other programming too.
Similarly the Keen Value is another spyware. The sole purpose of this malware is to keep watch on your way of movement when you are online. How you surf net and jump from one site to another and what are your interest areas - the Keen Value will trap them all. With this gamut of information when the spyware is confirmed that you have stepped in its trap, it will send all sorts of pop-ups and slowly get linked to your system.
