How Do You Know Spyware Attacked Your PC

It is not hard to track that a Spyware has got into your computer system. The difficulty part lies in the fact that when the Spyware tries to find a space in your system you are unaware. Or else there is a series of symptoms that will allow you to find out that your PC has been infected by this latest software threat known as Spyware or another branch called Adware.

Checklist of symptoms

1. Barrier in your computer's performance: The most probable indication that you PC have been attacked by Spyware is slowing down of the machine. You will find that the performance level is low. The effect may fall directly on the internet connection too. The bandwidth service will find problem in communicating with right speed and the work process will find hurdles.

2. Free browser toolbars may be risky: Check before you click. There are different browser toolbars that appear before you as free software. You find them quite interesting and most often they carry the tag called "advertiser supported" and you don't mind to open the program. Once these programs get install by this process, it is very tough to get rid of them. The process of damage gradually intensifies and your personal setting is completely disrupted.

3. In start-up list: If by any chance the Spyware can catch up with your start-up list, it will multiply the risk factors very swiftly. Unknowingly you might click that from your start-up menu bar and call for the most dangerous thing happening to your personal programming in your PC.

But there is a way to avoid this threat. In the booting process if you find that your PC is taking a longer duration to get started you can predict that Spyware must have got installed. There may be some other problem but this probability cannot be ignored. So as soon as you find this problem with your PC you must immediately check out the start-up list. If there is any sign of unknown programs you must immediately delete it without even taking an attempt to open them. Among them anyone can be Spyware. Why then take risk?

4. Disturbance through pop-up ads: Adware infection generally takes place by pop-up ads that frequently appear when you browse through the different sites. Again they might turn up on your computer screen even if you are not surfing websites. And unknowingly the damage takes place if you click on that particular pop-up ad.
