Today the world is in a financial crisis. It is reported that the next couple of years the economic outlook does not look good. Families are in a personal struggle to make ends meet and many families need to have both mom and dad go back to work.
Times are changing, moms cannot stay home with children and those moms that are working are getting laid off. So either moms need to go back to work or they need to make a career change. Some have the money to go back to college while others are struggling to find a way. The moms that need help financially don't know where to turn or don't know how to get the proper funds to support their educational needs.
Moms need a way to pay for college, there are many different ways to pay for college but some avenues of credit have dried up. But some do exist, family or friends, banks, part-time job, financial aid and scholarships.
Families and friends are strapped just as much and cannot lend money to help out. The banks are so far into debt and are losing money every day from bad loans and they are having a tough time lending money.
As time went on the economy started to take its toll and the government needed to step in. The government enacted many different programs, cash for clunkers to increase car sales, tax credits to help with the housing market and census jobs to help with unemployment. These were good intentions but the economy still was tanking. The only hope was to get moms back to work.
The next program that went live was to have moms return to college. More moms that are educated and trained could potentially find higher paying jobs and return to work. The grant program was born to help moms return to college. The government will give $5,000 towards college and the money does not need to be paid back.
To help with this grand plan the government has given tax breaks to those sponsors and corporations who would help with supporting moms returning to college. The sponsors setup scholarship programs worth $10,000 to assist with educational costs. This money does not need to be paid back and can be used once awarded.
The incentive is there to go back to college; the only caveat is that these scholarships have deadlines. When planning to go back to college apply for the scholarships as early as possible before the deadline date.
