If you have a passion in music and in mixing songs and you have the interest to become a good DJ, there are certain things that you need to keep in mind to be a good one. Of course, it is not just about passion and interest. You also have to build up that skill in making music that will make people dance and move with it. If you are interested in becoming a good DJ, here are some DJ tips and tricks to learn.

To be a good DJ, you may need a good grasp of music - and music that can make your audience move and dance. If you want to be a DJ, for sure, you already have developed a love for music and be the center of the limelight in dance parties and similar events.

Of course, with a good grasp of music, it will be easy for you to choose songs to mix as well as songs that will be good to mix together. As a DJ, you have to practice to please your audience by not letting them feel that awkward transition from one song to another. Especially when you are in dance parties, people would not want to stop dancing because the music has stopped. Thus, to be a good DJ, you have to learn how to mix songs and make it sound better and not make the people run for the door.

One of the DJ tips and tricks to keep in mind if you want to be a good DJ is to engage your audience from the start. Of course, you don't want the party or their listening to be boring, so make a good start to your mixing and your choice of songs. However, keep in mind also not to play all your best at one time and leave the ending uninteresting and boring. You have to keep a balance to keep the people interested throughout the party. Before starting with your program, make sure you have laid out your plan on the tracks you will be playing.

Learn to mix and match mellow parts of tracks with the fast ones. Play with the tracks that it will not bore your listeners. Keep in mind that music at the same level of intensity can also tire the ears and the audience, so make sure you play with the mellow and fast tracks.

Be creative too. You don't have to stick to the track or stick to the scratching all the time. Of course it can be a torture to the ear as well, so know when to stop and when to start. You can be creative and add spoken message, you can incorporate some poetry or rap. For sure a little touch of creativity can make your show exciting and full of life.

Another important thing that you have to keep in mind to make yourself a good DJ is to prepare and prepare. Whatever DJ tips and tricks you learn if you lack preparation for your show, it will most likely show and would not be a good one for your audience.
