How To Get A Lot More Article Traffic - A Quick Tip... By Tim Schultz
Of course, we all know that! But, let's take that a step farther. Here's a real quick tip that most people do not use. The Power Of Tags. In fact, right above this box there is a reminder. However, if you surf article marketing, you will notice that not many people use these tags. Why? Good Question. You have noticed that I have used some tags in this article to emphasize certain points I'm trying to make. It works! Here's a couple of my favorite tags;
ITALICS EMPHASIS UNDERLINE
You've already seen me use these tags;
BOLD STRONG
By adding these tags you can really get your point across better. But even more important, you will be doing something that most people do not do. Thus- you will be "standing out" And that's the key when you're doing internet marketing. The more you can "stand out", the more you will peak someone's interest and they might want to read more by clicking on the links below in your author reference box. This might seem a little foolish at first but I can assure you that something as simple as having an article with some words "bolded" will help you.
Remember, most people skim an article first so if your highlighting, bolding, or using italics in your paragraphs, people will obviously see those words first.
This can not be stressed enough. People skim articles. That is the #1 reason why you must use bold, italics, and underline. It automatically brings the eye to cetain words throughout your article. If done right, a person should be able to get a decent synopsis of your entire article by quickly reading the chosen words you have decided to bring attention too.
If they are inline with your headline, you got yourself a quality article that grabs attention. Peoples attention spans are short so get to the point fast and utilize the proper attention grabbing tricks we have covered.You must do everything in your power to make yourself and your article stand out. Writing witty and clever and interesting article is only part of the equation. You must use these other tips to stand out. Keep this "tip" as a best practice and make it a part of all your articles in the future! The more you use tags when you write, the faster they will become second nature. The more you know, the more you grow! Good luck.
P.S. - One final thought, always on each article you write make sure to include your blog. it a great way to get some easy backlinks. I actually teach my team a more advnaved marketing staragy that I will let you in now.
When we write our blog posts, evey other post, (don't do this for each one) we will cut our blog article at a certian spot to create a desire to find out more. My giving the link at the end of your blog saysing something like, "To find out the rest of the story, click here."
By using this marketing tip you can then direct your readers to your article forum. Once they are at your article directory, they can then go though and find other articles you have written. The more relevant and interesting content you give them, the more trust and relationship building you will have built. Always keep pushing them into other forms of marketing content. Create that "web' of knowledge that we are all trying to create. We want to be "god like" To be everywhere at once.
