Camping At All Levels

Camping At All Levels

Camping is an activity that can be done alone or with your family or a big group. You can get back in touch with nature and the true fresh air that is plentiful in nature. There is also a modern day equivalent where you see your tent or travel trailer up at a campsite or show grounds. The gear needed has changed and is different depending on the style of camping you will partake in. Now days there are a lot of parks and woods you can enjoy this activity in or you can even do it in a big city. It just depends what degree you want to enjoy it at.

There are many county, state, and national parks out there that have all types of campsites in them. These places offer sites form primitie and rustic places you have to hike into up to modern sites that include electric and water hookups. There is still a few people out there, true sports men or women, naturalists, and families that like to be one on one with nature. These people enjoy the hike in style of camping. The modern day warrior that camps has a fancy travel trailer or RV that has everything like home. These campers need electricity and water hook ups to survive. There is no bathing in the creek or in the lake for these people. A stoe to cook on is a plus for these people too.

The true camper can put his supplies all in his backpack. A tent, sleeping bag, a couple of pans, thermos of water, and some basic food items are equipment needed to rough it in the wilderness. A campsite by a creek or lake where you can catch a fish is ideal. It also offers a place to clean up a little. If it is the right season there will be a few nuts and berries to enjoy as well. A camera is the only modern piece of gear allowed in this natural form of camping. You have to record some of the beautiful views you will see that your RV camper counterpart will never have the chance to take in. A big buck, or other wildlife could be right at your back door when you camp in these extreme spots.

The modern day camper needs alot more gear. They need every aspect of modern life with them. TVs, radios, and cell phones are a must to stay connected with their busy life. They cannot go relax and forget about their busy life. Sometimes you have to kickback and relax though, it is good for you.
