Readiness for retirement occurs on multiple levels over years. Financial planning, while the foundation of a comfortable retirement cannot assure the fulfilling meaningful and satisfying retirement individuals work so hard to achieve.
When individuals begin a financial plan for retirement, typically late 30s early 40s, it is not too early to begin evaluating your life-work. There are self-discovery tools that can offer clarity of the work that best fits who you are not just what you can do. Begin early to explore your natural talents, things you do better than 90% of the people you know. Work using our talents reduces our stress levels no matter how difficult it may seem for the next person.
The value of an assessment instrument is based on the personal insight you gain. Self-knowledge is like cleaning the window through which you view the world. Our personal filters keep us from seeing our lives and behaviors from all angles. Like smudges that block our view.
