Wedding Budget For Your San Diego Wedding

Wedding Budget For Your San Diego Wedding

Forget the idea that brides family has to pay for everything while the grooms family is off the hook. It doesn't really happen anymore, probably because Weddings in our country have become so glamorized. If you want to have your dream wedding, you are going to have split up the costs in a way that will make sense to everyone. Chances are you and your loved will be paying for a lot of the wedding yourselves!

San Diego California has a lot of different options when coming to the location, flowers and music. This Southern California area has become one of the most popular places on the west coast to have a wedding reception. It's climate and tourist attractions are often what bring people to the beautiful area for their special day. Additionally there are many wedding venues located near Lindberg Field (San Diego Airport) so your guests can get from out of town and to the wedding venue without too much difficulty.

The easiest way to break it down is by splitting up some general ideas of who pays for what so that everyone can chip in and take care of what needs to be payed for. Remember that these rules are made to be adapted and changed to what best suites your needs. You might want to consider that a casual wedding will traditionally have less people there and will cost less in the end, whereas a formal wedding will have a lot of people and will cost a lot more.

Ceremony
- Bride family pay for the facility and the musician or music.
- Groom and family pay for the marriage license and the officiants fee.

Clothes
- Bride and family pay for the dress and veil, accessories and trousseau.
- Groom and family pay for the grooms clothes.
- All attendants pay for their own clothing, including shoes.

Flowers
- Bride and family pay for arrangements for church and the reception as well as the bouquet and the flower girls bouquet.
- Groom and family will pay for the brides bouquet and the corsage etc.

Honeymoon
- Groom and family pay for the honeymoon.

Photography
- Bride and family pay for all wedding photos and videos for the day.

Parties Prior to the Wedding
- This one is kind of up to which family would like to host the party. If there are two parties the brides family should have the first party.
- The grooms family pays for the rehearsal dinner.
- Maid of honor and bridesmaids host the girls party.
- Best Man and groomsmen will host the bachelor party.

Reception
- Bride and family pay for all professional services, including food, drink, decorations and music.

Rings
- Bride and/or her family pay for groom's ring.
- Groom and/or his family pay for the bride's ring.

Stationary
- Bride and family pay for the invitations and wedding programs.

Remember that these are just guidelines and at the end of the wedding day, it is truly whoever can help, will help. You want to make sure that you and your guests are enjoying themselves and not thinking about how much money they have spent. It is important to stay within reason to not create too much of a burden on your friends and family.
