7 Keys To A High Converting Squeeze Page

A Squeeze Page is a landing page that helps you collect email addresses from your site visitors for list building. A list of valid email addresses is very useful to carry out a targeted email marketing campaign.

However, the point lies in creating a really informative and catching squeeze page that works with visitors. An effective page will enable you to make more than half the people who visit your site to sign up, so that they can get further information from your site.

In order to get such results, your squeeze page must be done in such a way that visitors feel drawn to sign up to receive the offer given in the page. Here are a 7 tips on how to create your high converting squeeze page.

Tip 1:
Write out a heading that's compelling and which impresses visitors to move forward into the information in your site. This is one of the most important points in creating a high converting squeeze page.

Tip 2:
Your content must be short, preferably 200 to 300 words. Not too much. It should have a personalized touch. In other words, write like you are having a face-to-face conversation with your visitor. Such things get noticed and speak about how beneficial your offer is to the visitor and gets them to sign up.

Tip 3:
You must give a valuable offer. When you do this, people feel there is a genuine benefit for them to sign up. This will attract the right people to your squeeze page and help you build a list that can take your email marketing campaign forward.

Tip 4:
Inform your visitors about the benefits of signing up for your offer. List out the benefits in short but persuasive lines.

Tip 5:
Giving a free offer always shows you results. Of course this offer must be something highly useful for the visitor. When visitors find a good and purposeful free offer, they are ready to sign up to get the offer, without further ado.

Tip 6:
Do not include external links in the form of ads in your squeeze page. You want your visitors to stay in your page and move into your site, not move elsewhere for information.

Tip 7:
When collecting information take only the email address and the first name. Asking for too many details makes people worried, suspicious and also takes up their valuable time.

If you follow these important points, you can be sure of having a page that works well with visitors and which gives you the necessary email addresses you require for your email marketing campaign.

A successful email marketing campaign depends on having the right contact addresses of those people who will be interested in what your business has to offer. A good squeeze page will get this contact list for you, so that you can build a good customer base for your business.
