Fun Seasonal Date Ideas

With the seasons there are a lot of different opportunities that come into most areas that will allow you to have fun that you normally wouldn't. Why not take advantage of the seasonal fun in your area to make a splash on the dating seen and really give your date something to remember. They will appreciate you thinking outside of the box and you won't have to go on another mind numbing movie and dinner date.
Spring
In the spring why not go on an Easter egg hunt? They have these all over most cities and you will find that as many adults participate as children. Don't want to participate but want to get in the spirit? Plan a picnic at a park that is hosting one of the Easter egg hunts and watch as the little kids go running all over with wide eyes as they collect the eggs that they bunny has left for them.
Enjoy the outdoors. Plan a walk through a nature trail, a day at the park, or attend and outdoor concert and soak up the first warm rays of the year. It can be a lot of fun to do something like this when all of your dates have been taking place in doors due to the weather. You will both feel like you have experienced something totally different when you bring the date outdoors.
Summer
Go to a pool party or a BBQ. Again, you can take advantage of the outdoors and have fun with friends. This is a great time to introduce your girlfriend or boyfriend to others as it is usually a very laid back atmosphere that will not be overwhelming to your date but will allow you to be a good boyfriend or girlfriend while you are also hanging out with your friends.
If you are lucky enough to live near water you should definitely consider going snorkeling or diving. This can be a really awesome experience to share together. If your date is not into snorkeling or diving, just get on a boat for an afternoon, sharing conversation and a romantic meal. Nothing like being out on the water in the heat of the summer!
Winter
Sledding! Sledding is a great date activity because it brings the two of you close, you'll have a lot of fun, and the process can last as long as you want it to. You will find that this is simply an activity that is a lot of fun to share with someone that you care about and you'll create memories that will last forever.
Decorate your home for the holidays. Invite your date over and ask them to help you put ornaments on the tree while you sip egg not chocolate, or hot tottie's. This is a great way to really bond if you want to get a bit more serious and the night could easily segue into even more fun!
Fall
Fall is a beautiful time in most areas because while the temperatures are cooling you can usually still enjoy the great outdoors. Why not go to a pumpkin patch together? This would be a lot of fun for people of all ages because you will experience the joy of choosing a pumpkin or even going on a hay ride all over again. You never get too old for a hay ride.
Attend a local fair or Renaissance festival. Many of these things take place in the fall because it allows for people to move around outside without being too hot. You can eat great food, enjoy entertainment, and just spend time together doing something that you would not normally get to do on an every day basis. A lot of fun!
