Soft Toric Contacts For All Occasions

I used to be very nervous about contacts. My twin was fine with them, but my eyes are really sensitive. I just couldn't stand the thought of putting something into my eye and just leaving it there all day. That changed when I started doing yoga. I've got astigmatism in one eye and very poor vision in both eyes, so doing a yoga session without my glasses was not an option. On the other hand, when we were asked to press our foreheads to the floor, or laying on our stomachs we were told to let our head rest to the side, I had to take off my glasses first. Then, when we went to the next pose, I had to put them back on to see what we were doing! I finally got fed up with it, and decided to try soft toric contacts. What a difference it made!
I knew I wanted soft lenses, rather than hard. My eye doctor told me that they're a lot easier on a person's eyes, and they are a whole lot easier to take care of as well. I didn't know if I could get contacts with my astigmatism, but she said that toric lenses are made to fit the specific shape of my slightly football shaped eye. So, soft toric contacts were the solution.
My next dilemma was finding a solution that fit my eye sensitivity. With regular contact lens cleaner, my eyes would become very dry, itchy, and bloodshot; not exactly the look or feel I was going for with contacts. With a little bit of experimentation, I finally found one that cleaned my lenses, which were two week disposables, but which also were easy on my eyes.
Once I had the lenses and the right solution, I had to think about cost. Soft toric lenses are not cheap, and neither is saline solution and cleaner for sensitive eyes. My answer came via the internet. Wholesale contacts are available with a prescription, and anyone can buy wholesale saline solution and cleaner. Eureka! What a relief. It's amazing what a difference in cost buying wholesale makes.
Now, I can do a complete yoga practice, including meditation at the end, without worrying about either seeing clearly or my glasses getting squished against my face. Soft toric contacts have made so many things so much simpler for me, from my yoga practice to my pocketbook.
