Couples planning to get married almost always give their wedding photographers a list of moments they want captured. Moments, such as the bride making the way to her husband-to-be, cutting the wedding cake, and the first dance, are important. The only problem is they only tell one portion of the story. The hidden moments that surround the event can fill out the story and even reveal hidden chapters that unfold throughout the day. All this comes from seemingly unimportant images.
Prior To The Ceremony
Couples should always include their wedding photographers in the moments prior to the official start of the ceremony to capture the important moments that are often lost. These pictures might include the bride and groom donning their finery and quiet moments spent with their best friends. While this doesn't sound like something to feature in an album, a bride's short, but distant look out the window or a groom straightening his tie while laughing at his friend's joke says a lot about the mood and feelings throughout the day. The other attendees at the event are also important to preserve in these images. After all, the friends and family make this day truly unforgettable. This could include two friends sharing an intimate moment, an anxious flower girl, or a mother and father looking at each other and remembering their own day. In many cases, the new couple often misses these special moments completely because of their responsibilities and excitement of the day.
During The Ceremony And Planned Events
