Prepping Your Table for a Trade Show

If you are getting ready for a presentation at a trade show you will want to ensure that you pick your tablecloth wisely because even minor details like the tablecloth may be the difference between attracting attendees or not.
After all, if your tablecloth is looks sloppy and doesn't stand out you may not get many people to visit and learn about your product or services and why they are valuable. If your tablecloth is both unattractive and wrinkled, it will also make you look unprofessional and discourage potential customers from coming to visit. When you pick out a color, you want to a shade that stands out but not one that will be so irritating that no one will want to approach you either.
You will also need to decide on the style that you want to use. For example, you may choose a four-sided table cloth that will cover all sides of the table or a three sided cloth that will give easy access to products, refills, handouts, promotional items and other items that you choose to store under the table. You can also choose between fitted or draped corners. For businesses who like a very precise and seamless look, the fitted corners may be preferable while other companies would rather go with the relaxed and elegant fall of draped corners. Both styles look nice, but some businesses believe that the fitted choice appears a bit more professional to those walking by.
If you're not sure what kind of material you want your tablecloth to be made from, you should read the facts about the three different kinds that are usually used for tablecloths. The toughest of the three is the reinforced vinyl. Nylon is almost as tough as the vinyl, but it's not flame retardant, while the regular polyester is a good fabric, but not as durable.
Perhaps you have a set amount that you can spend on your tablecloth, you might want to make an initial investment for the longest lasting fabric and not have to worry about replacing it for years. This may hurt your bottom line for a bit, but in the long run you are really saving that money you might have spent on replacing the other fabrics you could have used. On the other hand, if you enjoy switching things up and trying new styles, you may care more about the look than the durability.
Looking sharp is a big deal when it comes to trade shows and one of the biggest ways you will influence those people at the show is with an attractive tablecloth that looks professional.
