Sometimes water is safe to drink and sometimes it is not when you go aboard. You should check before you go as sometimes locals will be confused if they drink. Sometimes they do say that it is safe to drink although consuming around 2 litres pay day may land you with an upset stomach due to the high mineral content in it so buying bottled water should do you fine.
If a one-way ticket is desired, check the round-trip fares. Sometimes they are actually cheaper. Avoid using different airlines for each segment of the trip. Stay with one airline or its affiliate.
If you have rented a villa and you are really pleased with your holiday, ask the person who you rented it off if there is any referral scheme. This will involve you getting a percentage off your next year�s holiday in return for family and friends booking up in that villa or one of their villas. This may not be much but it could pay for a nice meal out for you and your family.
Often people with villas will provide a welcome pack. This normally consists of some basics to help you get going before you get a chance to check out the local supermarket or restaurants. If you would prefer not to have a welcome pack you should tell the villa owner in advance, this may save you some money but do remember after travelling do you really want to be without the essentials?
Reduce the travel fare by 20% and consider bidding for tickets in a travel auction like ebay or priceline. Read the rules before you start bidding and make sure you understand them. You can also bid for train and coach travel.
It is important to enjoy yourself on your holiday � just remember to take as much care as you would at home and not be reckless just because you are on your holiday, be sensible with the sea, pool, alcohol and valuables and you should have a stress free trip, you should also check you insurance before you go away to see what you are covered for.
