The Annoyance of Writing a Report By fred jones
One of the things I dread about school is something probably just about any normal student will dread. The papers that we need to write for our teachers, professors, assistant, or to whomever that requires you to write an extensive paper or report. Let's be frank, writing a report isn't really that much enjoyable. Its quire dull actually, extremely dull.
But yeah, it's something that everyone needs to do if they want to pass their classes and a lot of classes require you to write a paper. Especially the history classes, English classes and psych classes. A pain in the behind but they all will require you to come up with a multi-paged reports with detail information.
So yeah, you will be forced to write this really annoying paper but at as I said before it is something that needs to be done. Here are a few tips to help you write that paper of yours.
Start early. Yeah, starting early really helps. For many of us we procrastinate so much that we completely forget that the project even exists and once we finally do remember that we even had it to begin with it's already way too late to begin writing a good paper. So starting on day one when you first get the report from whoever assigned it to you, begin working on it immediately.
I suppose the beginning of any paper is research. Start opening the books and begin reading. For most reports you are given you are usually allotted a generous amount of time by the person who assigned this task to you. They usually end up being at least a month or so. So rather than forgetting about the paper in the back of your head while you grab a video game controller and play games with your friends pick up the book instead and start reading because you future depends on it.
Research is extremely boring when it's something that you have no interest in but it has to be done because it’s the beginning of all research. So once you finish which is hopefully soon you can begin the writing process. This is probably the most difficult and dullest part of the process. Yes you heard me right. The most difficult and dullest part of the process is this part of the process. You know, I've always wondered why in elementary they made me write all those book reports. Personally I think they were a waste of my time. I loved reading books, but they just had to add the punishment of writing a report. I mean, why did they have to punish me for something that I liked to do? I supposed that is the reason why I became so distant from reading. I had to write those awful book reports one after another. Then I was also forced to read books that were supposedly classics. I hated those books. They were boring. I used to love reading but you know what. I guess I can blame our extremely biased school system to why I have grown up to hate reading. Thank you for making me hate the books I once used to love.
