3 Tips for Making Your Product Offerings More Valuable

Everyone loves freebies. A good valuable freebie is also a way to make your product offerings more valuable.

Let's face it, even if you're an expert on your topic, you don't know everything there is to know about a particular topic. By offering one or more freebies as bonuses to your product offering, you are rounding out your offering to give your customer a better product.

Below are three tips for finding great freebies to include as bonuses in your product offerings:

1. Select the right keywords to help you find freebies.

The right keywords are crucial to helping you find the right bonuses to include into your offering.

First, look at your product. What keywords have you used repeatedly in your product? Look at your sales letter. What keywords have you used repeatedly?

Start with those keywords and then expand your list. For example:

You've written an ebook on article marketing. You are teaching your readers how to market their articles and get the most exposure. Although you may have included plenty of information on where to market articles, as well as how to get the most traffic, have you included information on how to write articles?

Some may be hesitant to buy your product even if they believe it will deliver on what it says. By expanding your product offering somewhat, you give your potential customers another reason to buy because you've covered all of the bases.

2. Look for ebooks on your topic.

There are plenty of places to find free ebooks to include in your offering. Although you can start by searching in the search engines, a faster way is to use ebook directories that offer free ebooks.

(If you are planning on using the search engines to find ebooks, do a search of your topic, plus the search term free ebook. For example: free gardening ebook.)

Another place to find ebooks is free giveaways. There are thousands of freebies available through these giveaways, and many of the products available come with giveaway rights. You'll find these by searching for free giveaways.

3. Look for software on your topic.

Software is also another great bonus to offer. There are literally thousands of freeware and trial offers available on the internet.

Freeware is software that is completely free. Occasionally, it will have ads in it, but most of the time you can use it without limitation. Trial software is software that you may try a full version for a certain length of time or you get a limited version of the software you may use all of the time.

Software is an even more valuable freebie to offer because it is often a way for your customer to implement what you teach in your product.

With the article marketing example, a way to increase the value of the product would be to add tools that help the customer write or submit articles.

The most important thing to remember about creating bonuses for your offers is that your bonuses should be valuable. Overdeliver on your promises in your sales letter and make your customers and offer they can't refuse.
