Turkey is the number one holiday destination this summer, largely due to the rising cost of the euro and as it�s not in the EEU. Other destinations that are popular are USA, the Far East and the not too far away Morroco. The reason these are good for travelling is that the exchange rate on the local currency is excellent.
When abroad it is possible to change money in banks and post offices. Banks are generally open from around 08.30 to 17.00 hours and the post office is generally open 0830 am to 12 noon so you should have no problems exchanging your travel money.
You should aim to get a holiday villa with a pool within relative distance to the sea. This keeps all family members happy whether they prefer the beach or the pool, whilst if something goes wrong at the beach, like you lose your sun cream or the weather turns too hot or too cool you are in easy distance of your villa where you can retreat for the day or pick up essentials. This means you can also save during the day by popping back to your villa for meals and cold drinks.
Make sure you set the budget for your accommodation before you start looking. Once you have set your budget it is important that you don�t go over this, there is always a more luxurious, expensive option, once you have set your budget stick to it. Outside of peak times, you may be able to negotiate with the owner or agent for a reduced rental price, even if it is only �25 off, you can also ask for transfers, free air conditioning, reduced rate into local attractions, do remember that the owner/agent will have overheads and the price will be set accordingly.
Reduce the travel fare by 20% and consider bidding for tickets in a travel auction like ebay or priceline. Read the rules before you start bidding and make sure you understand them. You can also bid for train and coach travel.
You should also protect yourself from mosquitoes in the evening time. Sometimes you can�t see them and often just feel an itch after it has bitten from you. You can protect yourself from mosquitos with a range of lotions and potions available on the high street � you should also check with your local chemist. If you are affected while on holiday you should take a trip to the chemist where they should be able to give you something to stop the swelling or itching.
