Document Freeze Drying - Reliable But Not Invincible

The major reason behind why document freeze drying is so important is the information that these documents contain. The fundamental reason is to bring the documents in the same shape, size and form as they were originally before they came in contact with water. The documents are an important source of immense amount of information which has taken considerable amount of effort to gather, formulate and put down.
Document freeze drying is a method which is being used very effectively and popularly in all the places where the practise of document freeze drying is needed very often. It retains the shape and original form of the documents as we need them to be and that is why it is so important. Through various trial and error methods which have been used otherwise for the same purpose has been unsuccessful and has given very unsatisfying results where the document has been changed in many ways and the originality is lost in ways more than one.
Document freeze drying do have its own limitations and some times makes it very difficult for providing the same results in every kind of papers. This is because there are many kinds of papers which are in use and there can be no guarantee as to on what kind of paper will the document freeze drying would be most effective. There is also a reason behind this because document freeze drying is not very effective on the documents of 1800s and earlier era documents. This is because these papers absorbs water very quickly and even expands and deforms abnormally.
The documents are of great importance for retaining information of all types in written method and it is the only method which has been really successful in retaining the history till date. The use of the method document freeze drying has made many of the not so liked events much less hampering as much they could have been because the thought of lost information was retrieved with the help of document freeze drying.
There are other methods which follows the pipeline once this method is complete like page separation method and page duplication method. These are the methods used so that any mishap in future can not create much of a problem. There have been many events when the documents actually lost all its information for many other reasons like ink spreading, ink bleeding and paper damage due to weakness.
Document freeze drying however, is not the only method put into practise for saving documents and there are couple of other methods which are used but due to effectiveness of this method it is most widely used as it is the most reliable also. The event where document freeze drying is not very effective is an event where the documents are actually in very bad state and can not be saved anyways. The growth of mold and mildew is also one of the reasons where document freeze drying is not very helpful as these bugs can damage the documents in irrecoverable way.
