Sheets of damaged documents are first sorted out from a heap of damaged documents and then kept for drying for a while. Then they are taken and treated with a wax like substance to prevent the articles from sticking to each other. The wax like substance sticks to the paper surface. It prevents clogging of documents during document dry freezing. The sheets of paper are then put inside freezers so that the water contained inside the documents freeze and dry up. Any unwanted moisture present is removed or absorbed by special chambers.
The documents are dry frozen and taken out after a while. Then the documents are put inside chambers which have special suction tubes. The suction tubes take out any moisture or water droplets present inside the chambers. It ensures complete drying of the documents and no data is lost during the entire process. Document dry freezing is truly a very good way of drying up articles.
