You might have a "cubby" area that is perfect for holding your unit whether you are using it or not. This solves the problem of finding room in the pantry. If you only have space for a small dehydrator, then utilize that space to the best of your ability (or find a way to make more space).

Just because you start small doesn't mean you will want to keep it small.
