Law School Rankings

You probably want to know if if it matters if you attend a high ranked law school or not.
Well, it does. The higher the ranking of a particular school, the higher the ranking of the firms that recruit from them.
In the beginning, after passing the bar, these firms are going to look at the school you attended and your grades.
Once you obtain your first position as an attorney, where you went to school won't matter as much as the fact that you did indeed go and graduate.
So be sure to score high on those LSATs and keep your GPAs up!!

The LSAT is the test you need to score big on in order to get into the law school of your choice. These scores are the scores that determine whether you get into a high ranked college or a lower ranked one.
It might not matter much to you if you have your heart set already on a lower ranked school. But if you are one of the law students set on Cornell Law or Yale, you need to score big!
Most schools get thousands of applicants and only take a small percentage into their fold. Your LSAT score may be the one thing you have over another possible choice of the admissions committee.
