Wraps -- these are the most comfortable and versatile for babies and for you. They support the baby better in an ergonomic way and wont' hurt your back. This newborn carrier allows you to carry your baby comfortably even if you have back problems.
Benefits of a Newborn Baby Sling
There are many benefits to using a baby sling as a carrier for your baby. At its most basic level the newborn baby sling allows your baby to have more interaction with the world around them. They are constantly kicking their legs or moving their hands in a sling. Also, you are constantly touching your baby.
Many mothers find that using a sling for their newborns creates a happier baby because their needs for touch and warmth are fulfilled along with the movement. A sling also promotes learning because your baby is constantly learning from the environment.
For mom's, this newborn baby sling helps her bond more readily with her baby and it lowers the possibility of Post-Partum Depression. Because you have stronger bonding with the baby, discipline will be easier as baby gets older.
How to Use a Newborn Sling
How you will use your newborn sling will depend on the type of sling you purchase. The first thing to do is learn how to maneuver your baby into and out of the sling. Next, you will want to find several comfortable positions for you baby.
As an example, most experts say that the most comfortable position for a new born is a cradle hold. This is where your baby fits snuggly into the sling as though she or he is in a kangaroo's pouch. As your baby gets older and has more control of their head movement, you can change the position to a more upright one.
