Places To Visit At Norfolk

The breathtaking English county of Norfolk is a fabulous spot for the entire family to take a break no matter what the weather. With so many things to choose from it is impossible to mention them all, so below I will describe but a few of the various attractions and days out that Norfolk has to offer.

One of Norfolk’s latest attractions is Bewilderwood which will provide your kids with hours of fun and entertainment. There are trees houses to walk through, zip wires and slides to try out, not to mention interactive activities such as building your own den. This adventure style play area will provide the family with half a day’s fun giving you time to move on to other places should you want to.

Another great place to see is Banham Zoo, which accommodates a huge variety of animals and the zoo estimates that there is in the region of one thousand within the thirty five acre site. You can purchase a ticket that combines the Zoo and Africa Alive attractions which grants you with access to lots of natures best including Tigers, leopards, kangaroos, and monkeys.

Norfolk also has a medieval castle which is positioned near the centre of Norwich and has been transformed into a museum and will be of great interest to those who like history. The museum has many displays on show and offers several excursions including visiting the castle’s battlements and dungeons which is certainly worth taking the time to see.

For those who like their thrills to be a bit larger there is the Dinosaur Adventure Park, where you can see many of these colossal creatures in all their past glory. The dinosaur models are constructed to full scale and there is also an adventure park as well as lots of interactive activities to keep you smiling.

The above attractions are just a glimpse of what is available and if you are thinking of spending your vacation in England, then you really should consider staying at Norfolk if you have not done so in the past. Some of the attractions are free and the ones that charge are quite good, making Norfolk a favorite among a lot of families that want for a holiday that is memorable.
