If the jewelry box will be displayed on a vanity or dresser, it should be pleasing to the eye. The jewelry box should coordinate well with other furniture in the room. If the jewelry owner travels much, it is a good idea to get a jewel box that can be hidden away when the home is empty.

If each piece has its own specific space, it will be more attractive to wear. Long forgotten pieces will be more likely to be worn.
