What's the difference when you try to watch video and when you decide to watch a movie? The answer is really simple, which actually emanates from the definitions of the two words. A video is visual footage and used as visual media while a movie is a video intended to portray a certain work of the multimedia worker. In a sense, a movie in itself is indeed a kind of video but not all videos are movies.
