The puzzle game is a new popular item in the world of online arcades. Casual gamers across the world have taken to enjoying these fun games that reward quick reflexes and a good eye. The first hint I have is that you actually take the time to really read the instructions. Puzzle games can have more subtleties than chess. There are combos, speed bonuses, time bonuses, mission goals, and mini goals. Understanding the ways to get the big points will mean that you are better able to rack up the big scores with a clear and well thought out plan. Puzzle games really do require you to use your noodle and think about your moves. You might be able to last for awhile using gut instinct, but that will fail quickly on the higher levels.
The next thing you'll have to look at is the ways to deal with the special items in the game. Almost every puzzle game takes great pride in throwing monkey wrenches into your perfect setup. When you come across a little surprise you will need to take a breath and experiment with the game to find out the best way to handle them in the future. A little time early on will save you a lot of headaches in the future.
Finally, don't ever get too frustrated with the game. Everyone will probably make a boneheaded mistake in their game. You can make a wrong click or a bad decision and royally mess up the board. Just stop and look at the overall situation. If the game is still running than there is a way out of it. Puzzles games usually give you a mercy kill if you box yourself into a corner. Play out the new setup and see where it all goes to. You might just be lucky enough to find a good way out. If all else fails you can always start again. It's just a game and getting mad will just hurt your ability to play in the future. Learn from what you did and make sure that you don't do it again.
Puzzles games work perfectly in the lineup of an online arcade. They let you use your mind to make matches and hopefully make big combos. These are just a few tips that should help you get the score you want.
