Get Them To Remember You Every Day Of The Year

Custom business cards came into existence for one very important reason: to help people remember who you are.
But there’s a problem with the business card: you have to actively search for the card in order to be reminded about what it says. Here’s a situation I’m sure many people have had happened before. You need a service of some kind—for the sake of argument let’s say you need a plumber. Now, you have multiple color business cards from different plumbers right there in your rolodex, or maybe in a whatever holder you use for your business cards, but you literally forget you have the cards.
You end up finding one through other means, and it isn’t until weeks later that you’re searching through your cards and come across that business card. Oh yes, you think; now I remember. Well, that business card didn’t get any business for the plumber, now did it?
This is where calendar printing comes in as a different and more effective means of getting your name remembered. Of course, getting that calendar into a person’s home is also going to be a lot more difficult than getting a business card into a person’s hands, but it can be done, and if you succeed you have a powerful marketing tool.
When someone has one of your calendars they literally have your company name right there waiting for them every single day of the year. Your name isn’t hidden away inside a notebook or combined with a group of other business card. Your name is exposed for all to see, and each time a person looks at the calendar they’re going to see your company name.
Now your name is close to them, and ready to be noticed when your services are needed. But like I said before, other companies are going to be using calendar printing as well, and getting a person to keep your calendar won’t be quite as easy.
You need to give them something interesting or something they’re going to want to put up. If you know who your customers are you can better design something they’ll appreciate and take an interest in. You’ll probably have to do quite a bit of research if you want them to keep your calendar out of all the others they’re likely to be getting from people, but with enough work it can be done, and the benefits are more than worth the effort.
Take to heart the reason why business cards are needed. All calendar printing does is take it one step further and gives a person a means of remembering a company that does a little more than just act as a reminder. These are the best kinds of reminders you can hope for, because they do the best job.
