Forums are a great way to build backlinks. It works like this: you find a forum on a topic related to your site. Once you have looked around, seen it is an active and friendly forum fill out your profile page.
Once you have your profile filled out, go to the signature area. Once there fill in a catchy sentence that includes your main keyword and make that the link to your site.
A signature link in a forum shows up each and every time you post to the forum. It will show up below your post automatically. This is a great way to get traffic. Not only will you be getting great backlinks to get more traffic from Google, but if you provide quality information on the forum people get to know you and like you. You will start getting traffic from the forum itself.
Article Marketing
This is the best way to get a lot of backlinks fast. You simply write a quality article filled with great information. At the bottom of your article you include your "resource box" this is a space you can include a keyword anchor text link to your site.
Then just submit your article to article directories. You will get links from the directories, but other online publishers will come and use your article in their content or newsletter. This gives you even more backlinks, from different places.

You can find blogs on related topics. Stop by the blog and read the posts. If you have something to add to the conversation leave a comment.
