Writing your eBook will just be the beginning of building your online business. Now you must consider what other products and services people will want that are related to your eBook topic. Understanding how to repurpose your content and create many different products will help you to develop multiple streams of income that will increase steadily over time. Here are some ways to use the same information in your eBook to create more products and services for your clients and prospects.
1 - Break your eBook up into as many articles as possible. Each of these articles will bring readers back to your website or blog and help you to build your list. You can submit the exact same article to as many article directories as you like. Once these articles begin to circulate on the internet, they will be there forever. They work as sales agents, telling everyone who reads your articles about you and what you do. And, best of all, they never sleep.
2 - Take an excerpt from your eBook and sell it as a Special Report. Rewrite part of it and add new material so you are not selling the same exact content. Many people will prefer to purchase a shorter report for less money. This is one way to start making money very quickly with your writing. Make sure your special report has lots of valuable information and good content so that people will feel they got their money's worth.
3 - Record the information from your eBook as a teleseminar or teleseminar series. Many people will prefer to listen to your content rather than reading it. You can read directly from your eBook, or just use your chapter headings and sub-headings to guide you as you record your teleseminars for others to download. Be sure to give your name and blog or website address several times throughout the call.
4 - You can also break up your eBook content and repurpose it into blog posts. You will have enough content for several different categories and many blog posts. Search engines love blogs because of this fresh new content that can be updated daily. Use your keywords in your title and people will be able to find you very quickly.
All of these methods will increase your visibility and credibility as you continue to build your online business. Each time you repurpose you will change the way you say what you are knowledgeable about, making it even more interesting to your clients and prospects. Keep this up on a regular basis and you will have a profitable business in a very short amount of time.
