Another thing you can do, if you are bold enough, is to call the number yourself or have someone else call the number. Make sure you keep your identity private. If you do enlist the help of another person, make sure they conceal their number. The last thing you want to do is to unload the unwanted phone calls on that person. Consider calling from a pay phone.
As a final tip, I would be very wary of any online service that offers free phone searches. You wouldn't want to identify the wrong person. These services are usually scams.
