The second dose is given two weeks after the first.One home remedy to treat the infection involves garlic, coconut, and carrot. Garlic needs to be mashed and added to honey. It has to be taken at least 2-3 times a day for a period of one week.Similarly a table spoon of fresh coconut has to be taken at breakfast. After three hours a dose of caster oil is to be taken. The patient can also take a small cup of grated carrot every morning. The patient doers not have to take any other food in that meal. The patients should also increase the amount of grain and vegetables in their diet chart. This will help them to get rid of pinworms. It will also help to increase the level of health of the patient's body.The patient should bathe regularly to reduce egg contamination. They should wash their hands and fingernails thoroughly. It should especially be done after using the bathroom.This may seem a strange method of treatment and in most cases patients are more likely to see their doctor for prescription treatment.
