Three Powerful Reasons Entrepreneurs Must Hire an Adhd Coach

Based on over ten years of coaching, it seems that Entrepreneurs are more likely, than most people, to have Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, (ADHD). Unfortunately, many of these entrepreneurs have no idea they have adhd or how it is affecting their ability to do business.

Studies have shown that 85 % of the US adult adhd population is undiagnosed and untreated. Research conducted, at the Add Coach Academy, addca, with adults diagnosed with adhd, indicate a higher percentage of them don't understand how adhd shows up in their life. To add to this dilemma, most of the health care professionals diagnosing or treating adhd, don't have the tools or time to explain the entrepreneur's adhd challenges in language they will understand.

Reason #1: An adhd coach supports the entrepreneur in acquiring an improved understanding of their own adhd challenges and how it is impacting their business performance. The adhd coach has the skills, tools and experience to explain the complexities of adhd in simple language that the entrepreneur will quickly understand.

Once the Entrepreneur understands, their own brand of adhd, they can identify specific situations that work well with their strengths. The coach encourages and empowers the Entrepreneur to integrate their strengths in specific areas of their business that will provide positive impact with the company's strategic objectives. The newly discovered understanding, of their strengths, is an essential ingredient that generates improved morale for both the Entrepreneur, and his/her employees. It usually leads to enhanced business performance & productivity.

Reason #2: An adhd coach also works with the Entrepreneur to gain an improved understanding of how their own impulsivity can frequently manifest in an inability to control their reactions to different work situations. The coaching partnership will identify the types of tasks the entrepreneur has reacted to, in the past, which resulted in poor decisions and leading to a poor bottom-line performance.

The coach works, with the entrepreneur, to introduce the discipline of pausing so that they can process the thoughts they are pondering. This facilitates a greater chance of pinpointing possible solutions to research and discuss, with key personnel from the entrepreneur's company. The coach works with their entrepreneurial clients to manage, minimize the negative consequences, as well as the haphazard, decisions that are a byproduct of impulsive, reactive choices and decisions. They often have a negative impact on the company's balance sheet.

Reason #3) An adhd coach helps identify the client's best use of their time & skills. Once the etrepreneur has gained a new awareness, of where their strengths manifest, the they can begin to integrate them into their daily routine and seek out those employees who have the skills, to effectively perform their weakest, time-consuming tasks. Usually, these are the tasks, the entrepreneur neglected and they usually fall by the wayside.

Delegating, to the right employees, can provide the entrepreneur with newly created quality time, that will allow them to budget more time using their business strengths, and dramatically improving their concentration, energy and enthusiasm. It will also boost the morale of their entire staff. They will begin to notice the enhanced focus and positive mood of their leader and those supporting him/her.

The coach works with the entrepreneur using time-tested, scientific, profiling tools to identify the right person with the right skills who can take responsibility for specific tasks that have been a barrier for the entrepreneur. By delegating to the right person, with the right skills, the entrepreneur facilitates an ability to not let what they can't do, get in the way of what they can. This new focus on integrating strengths and delegating their weaknesses frequently leads to improved morale, productivity, growth and a dramatically improved balance sheet.
