How to Create an E Marketing Strategy in 6 Simple to use Steps

Undertaking any new advertising needs consideration of what outcomes you want. The answer to this is more sales or sales leads. When you are creating your advertising campaign you have to think where you are going to direct customers.

Simply adding news features about anything thats happening in your business can help keep your site up to date and also keep your customers more informed. Whether thats telling customers and suppliers about big orders youve won, any new products or ranges you have, or how your company will be affected by a recent news story or if youre doing really well any awards youve won or are nominated for.

Pay per click, as weve discussed before is what is says on the tin pay per each click you receive. If you are bringing visitors to your website you will need to direct them to a well thought out web page. If you are paying a search engine to bring visits to your site you need them to convert into customers by making the pages relevant and with lots of call to actions (CTAs).

Does the page you directed them to have information on that was conveyed in the advert? Remember relevancy is key and your web page must grab the readers attention.

You should now have a basic understanding on how you can increase visitors to your site through Search Engine Optimisation and web placement and once you get those customers to your site, increase the sales and marketing potential of the site.

Users go through a cycle of searching for information, gathering information and then commit to buying so you should ensure your keywords are with intent and you are not wasting money on clicks from people who have come to browse for information and are not far ahead in the buying cycle. Targeting with intent means it is more likely to convert. Are you targeting locally or nationally would changing the text/location on your ad encourage users to click through?
