The FC fiber duplex cable style connector has a screw on mating style that is mostly used in the telecom industry. There are many types of cables and connectors on the market that an individual or organization can choose from in order to customize the way they want their transmissions set up. They can be color coded for organization and spliced to the correct length to cut down on wire wrap.
