According to the statistics, there are far more cheating husbands than there are cheating wives. It seems that men are more likely to cheat on their spouses than women. There are various reasons for this. Women are the ones that most often care for the home and children, even though they do work outside the home. They try to get home as soon as possible after work to take care of the various chores such as laundry and preparing meals. Men are more likely to go out for a drink with the guys after work, they tend to work in jobs that have more overtime involved and their work often requires them to travel. This is the case with women also, but men sometimes tend to take their secretaries along and it is the secretary or a colleague with whom most husbands are guilty of having an affair.
Husbands are more likely to become involved in cheating online by flirting with women in chat rooms. Although many people do not think this is cheating on your spouse, it is because when you are involved in this type of activity your attention is on the other person and the fantasy of having an affair rather than on your marriage. With webcams, the husband and the other person can see each other and they can make arrangements to meet for sexual activity after they spend some time talking to one another.
Statistics also show that the more money a husband has or earns, the likelihood of cheating on his wife increases drastically. This is because he has more money to travel, to join clubs and to take time off work. It also gives him access to funds to use for hotel and gifts for a lover. Those who do not have a lot of money tend to focus their attention more on making money so that they can bring more comforts to their families and do not seem to have time to cheat. That is not to say that the average wage earners do not cheat because they do.
As a husband and wife become more complacent in their marriage, a lack of sexual activity, attraction is sometimes the reason why husbands cheat. They want to experience the stimulation of their youth and need to know that they are still attractive to women. These men rarely go out looking to have an affair. More than likely they just want a one-night stand just for something different. In some cases, it makes their wives seem more attractive when they go home and can be stimulating for their sex lives.
When husbands do have affairs, they usually do so with a younger woman. If they only want a one-night stand though, they are usually not very particular because they feel that they will never see this person again and that they won't get caught. When there is a lack of sexual activity in the marriage, husbands are more apt to feel that they are justified in cheating in order to have their needs met.
