Don't Get Comfortable - Get Successful

Don't Get Comfortable - Get Successful

Why do lottery winners soon lose all there money? Why do new millionaires soon face bankruptcy? This is the darker side of success. We see all the success, and we hear about all the challenges, however, how do you keep getting success?

The answer is don't get comfortable! We can learn a lot about the rich people in the world. And by that I mean that minority who make up 1 in 100 people. There are no rich men sons. Most people who inherit large sums of money soon find they are in a state of poverty and despondency. And this happens because these people get comfortable.

Most people go to work, and just do enough work to not get fired! The difference between those who rise, and those who linger at the bottom, is that those who rise go the extra mile. The person who climbs up a corporate ladder does so and becomes CEO by simply forgetting about the comfort factor.

Think about that example. You start on the corporate ladder and climb. You get to $50,000 dollars and you just may feel comfortable. At this stage, you neither move forward or back. The problem here is that it is more likely to go back, because there is no hunger to grow.

Many people don't like to speak about the millions, and what they can do to make those millions. It seems like a taboo to say 'I am going to invest my time on this Earth to get financially independent and earn my millions'.

This comfort issue is of great importance. Why is it that so few people achieve those millions? And also why is it that those people who have gone from nothing, from poverty, homelessness, etc, have made those millions? The first question is easy to answer, as we have covered that, but the second part may seem more difficult.

There is a difference, and again it comes down to the comfort factor. Many people who have money, have the home, and feel comfortable and join a home business opportunity for example, will soon leave. They leave because they see that they are making much less money than if they were working for someone else. They go to the job as it has more comfort.

Those who are poor, and in a state of despondency, is much more likely to make that big success. They see there vision, and remember the past, and they forge forward. Now, I have to point out that this does not happen in all cases. We all want to get rich, and be successful, but realize that only 1-4 people out of hundred will ever reach there big goals in life.
