Since it costs a small fortune to keep up small repairs and make small home improvements to our houses, we often choose to try to do these things ourselves. Check with the Better Business Bureau to ensure no complaints have been made concerning the quality of their work or not finishing the job. There are many people who have gotten taken advantage of in situations like Hurricane Katrina. Make sure there is no misunderstanding about what work they are responsible for and never make complete payment until the job has been done to your satisfaction.
