The structural design of Water Cube is based on the natural formation of soap bubbles- a research undertaken by Weaire and Phelan (Physics Professors) about the arrangement of soap bubbles in an infinite array, will give you an underwater experience.

The magnificent structure is a master-piece not only by its looks but also because of the techniques used in building it. The interiors of the Aquatic Centre, which is crafted in a way to save energy costs by 30%, which by all means leave a strong impression on the proclamation of Green Olympic.
