Bingo Winning Patterns

Bingo Winning Patterns

The type of patterns you are trying to achieve when you play Bingo will depend on the game you choose. 90 ball Bingo has three standard set patterns that are played consecutively, while 75 ball Bingo has dozens of possible patterns that can be played. A great place to play bingo online is www.888ladies.com. They offer both 90 and 75 ball bingo.

When playing 90 ball Bingo the patterns are always the same. The standard 90 ball Bingo card is comprised of grids of numbers three rows high and nine columns long (3 x 9). Each row of nine squares holds five numbers and four blank spaces. Each column has one, two or three numbers depending on where the blank spaces are placed. No column will have three blank spaces.
The patterns in 90 ball Bingo are very straightforward; there are three patterns and they are generally played consecutively. The first pattern is called "any one line". The winner is the first person to complete a full horizontal line (a full row) with five called numbers. The second winning pattern is "any two lines", where the winner is the first person to complete any two horizontal lines (rows) with ten called numbers. The final pattern is called a "full house". The winner of a "full house" is the first person to complete all three horizontal lines (rows) with 15 called numbers. If you achieve this feat you have filled your card (excluding the blank spaces) and have won yourself a prize.

75 ball Bingo has numerous different patterns that can be played by virtue of the shape of the card. One of the most common patterns is "any single line" which is achieved when any numbers on a card form a line of five consecutive squares either vertically or horizontally. Sometimes diagonal lines are acceptable as well. Other common patterns are letters of the alphabet such as X, L, T, N or Z. For example, an "L" would be achieved if the entire column of B's and the entire bottom row are both completed. This would form a shape of the letter "L". Still another popular pattern in 75 ball bingo is "four corners", where the winner is the first to successfully mark off the top and bottom B's and O's (the four corners of the card).
Often the last pattern played on a 75 ball Bingo card is the "coverall". The winner is the first person to mark off all 25 spaces on their card with called numbers. This is generally the most difficult pattern to obtain and usually carries high prizes.
The pattern being played is always announced prior to the commencement of a Bingo game. When playing online Bingo at www.888ladies.com the pattern being played is also displayed on the screen throughout the game.
Whether you are looking for the stability of the three patterns of 90 ball Bingo or the spontaneity of the dozens of patterns available in 75 ball Bingo, there is a Bingo game out there for everyone.
