The Importance of Safe Sex

Sex is meant to be joyful. There is no doubt that we should have the right to enjoy the pleasure of sex. However, one thing that should be stressed is that you should perform it in a safe way. Yes safe sex is always very important.
In fact, the first reason for you to perform safe sex is that you need to protect yourself from the infection of STDs. In fact, you are also protecting your partner(s) from infection when you are performing safe sex. Remember, STDs can pose real risk to your life. You should think about AIDS. It is just another word of death in most cases. As a result, you should try your best to protect both of you and your partner(s) from STD infections.
Even if you have one and only one sex partner and so does your partner, you should still perform safe sex. This is because of the idea of birth control. Accidental pregnancy can be a real problem to both the father and mother since they may not be ready for having a baby. This is true in terms of both finance and emotions. Raising a child can be something very expensive. Of course it will be a totally different story if you are planning to have a child. However, if you do not have such plans, you should better perform safe sex.
The next question here is, what you should do in order to perform safe sex. In fact, using a condom is always a good idea. Due to the convenience of using a male condom, you are advised to use such condoms whenever you have sex. No matter you are a man or a woman, you should try to bring along a condom with you. Of course you should also remember that you should never put the condom in some places under high temperature since it will destroy the condom.
If you are a woman, you should always insist on using a condom whenever you have sex. You should not have sex with your partner if he is reluctant on using a condom. This is the best way to protect yourself. No one can force you to do something if you do not want to do it. Again, the only occasion that you will not use a condom when you have sex is that you are planning to have a child.
